Edge SCADA and HMI

Operator screens, HMIs, trends, and dashboards served from the node's own web server. Open them in a browser on any device on the local network, including industrial touch panels. No panel PC software, no client installs. Full-fledged HMI and app logic editing works from the same browser, too!

Alarm Management

Alarm detection, history, and acknowledgment run on the node and continue when the uplink is down. Notifications go out by email, SMS, or push when a channel is available. A local modem can be connected for sending emergency SMS messages in case of uplink failure.

Local Historian Plus Store-and-Forward

Store telemetry and events on the node and forward them upstream when connectivity returns. Sites on unstable links keep collecting data through outages. Enable encryption, compression, and advanced filtering for any upstreams.

Data Processing at the Edge

Filter, summarize, and transform data before it leaves the site, with a complex event processing engine and ML model execution on the node. Send changes and summaries upstream instead of raw streams.

Direct Hardware Access

Industrial Edge Server Software Beyond a Simple Gateway

Uninterruptible cooling units stand at unmanned base station sites, each carrying an embedded programmable module that collects data on site and reports in. One console lists every unit with its status, indoor temperature and last sync; opening a unit gives more than 150 metrics and setpoints, trends, alarms and a map. Setpoint tuning, service and firmware upgrades all happen remotely, so an engineer travels to a site only when the hardware genuinely needs hands.

Mining

A reservoir sits 20 kilometres from the mine it supplies. After every power cut the pump drive had to be reset by hand, which meant a 40 kilometre round trip for someone. Iotellect took the site onto a cellular link: level and flow are read continuously, the pump recovers on its own after an outage, and local control blocks a dry run when the level falls too far. Traffic stays small, so the cellular bill dropped along with the mileage.
