Escalation Settings

This property defines processing options for pending alerts and alert escalation rules.

Field Description

Field Name

Allow pending alerts. When enabled, allows the alert to switch to "Pending" state. Disabling pending alerts also disables escalation.

pending

Number-based escalation. Enables escalation due to a certain number of pending alert instances.

numberEscalation

Number of pending alerts requited to initiate escalation. When the number of pending alert instances (of this type) exceeds this limit, alert is escalated.

numberThreshold

Time-based escalation. Enables escalation due to alert instances that are pending longer than the specified time limit.

timeEscalation

Time before escalation (minutes). If any pending alert instances are not acknowledged within this time, alert is escalated.

timeThreshold

These may be accessed via the escalation variable.
