OPC Server Discovery
Iotellect SCADA/HMI supports OPC Server Discovery. OPC discovery is the process of scanning multiple IP network hosts, finding OPC servers running on them, and creating device accounts for these servers.
To perform OPC discovery:
Right-click on Devices node (
) in the System Tree and select OPC discovery (
).In the Discovery Services Selection and Setup dialog, specify a list of login credentials to log in to the OPC server hosts. The list is available in the Service Options and Credentials field.
In the next steps of discovery wizard, specify IP Ranges or individual IP Addresses to be scanned.
When discovery is over, the Results dialog will be shown. Select the OPC servers for which device accounts should be created.
