Pre-Configured Event Filters

Iotellect Network Manager incorporates several built-in event filters:

All Events filter shows all important system and network events. See details in the corresponding section of Event Filters chapter.

Shows events generated upon a new device discovery.

Service Outages filter shows outage events generated by Network Host devices. The following columns are visible for outage events:

• Server Time when the event occurred.
• Context presenting the network host.
• Level of the event.
• Service that generated the event.
• Start Time of the outage.
• Outage Duration in seconds.
• Outage Reason provided by the service.

SNMP Traps filter shows events generated when an SNMP Trap is received. The following columns are presented:

• Server Time of the event.
• Agent IP Address or Host Name referencing the source of the trap.
• Enterprise field of trap.
• Trap's Generic Trap Type ID.
• Uptime of device that originated the trap (in 1/100 seconds).
• Variable Bindings associated with the trap.

Syslog Events filter shows events corresponding to Syslog messages received by Iotellect Network Manager server. The following columns are visible here:

• Event Server Time.
• Level of the event.
• Syslog message Timestamp.
• Message text.
• IP Address or Host Name provided in the Syslog message.
• Facility specified in the Syslog message.
• Severity of the Syslog message.
