Demo HMIs

Iotellect SCADA/HMI distribution includes several demo HMI dashboards. Some of them are quite simple, illustrating basic concepts of HMI creation (components, properties, bindings, etc.). Other demos are much more complex — these demos are, indeed, normal HMIs that can be used to control a whole industrial process. The only difference is that these demos are not connected to any real hardware. However, Iotellect's device data normalization layer make switching such an HMI to a real hardware extremely easy. In most cases it's just necessary to correct several bindings within an HMI itself.

All demo dashboards can be found by running the SCADA/HMI application and opening the UI Components Overview screen. The demos are listed in the Demo Library panel.

• Containers. Shows various dashboard containers and nesting.

• Data Display. Demonstrates different data display components.

• Input Controls. Demonstrates interactive UI components and menu options.

• Navigation. Illustrates navigation components, including a map
  component.

• Charts. Contains several tabs that show available chart types and settings.

• Bottling Line. A full-scale demo HMI emulating a bottling line.

• Filter Plant. A full-scale demo HMI emulating a filter plant.

• Milk Storage. Simulates milk storage and flow control using tanks, pumps, and valves.

• Main Gasline. A full-scale demo HMI emulating a main gasline monitoring and control system.

• Smart Power Grid. A full-scale demo HMI emulating a smart power grid.
