Encryption

Encryption is a global server configuration property that controls encryption of data in the server database.

Key name in the configuration file: internalEncryptionEnabled

Value type: Boolean

Possible values: true or false

Default value: false

Defines whether Iotellect Server should use internal encryption key or external encryption keys provided by the License Server in terms of centralized encryption management.

Secure fields in the database will not be encrypted if this option is disabled and the license server did not provide an encryption key for this server.
