Default User Permissions
Default User Permissions is a global server configuration property that defines the default permissions and resource availability for newly created Iotellect Server users.
It is used to build a permissions table and resources table when a new user account is created. Each record of Default User Permissions controls availability of a certain container context and access to this container:
- If Available flag is unchecked in any record, resource container of type pointed by this record won't be available for any Iotellect Server user.
- If Enabled flag is unchecked in any record, the newly created user will have no access to resources of type pointed by this record. However, other users may have access to it.
![]() | Permission level that new user will have for the resources enabled in Default User Permissions is specified during user registration. This level may be later changed by editing user's personal permissions table. |
