The CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP) device driver is used for centralized configuration and control of customer-premises equipment (CPE) that complies with TR-069 specification. In this case Iotellect server acts as an auto configuration server (ACS).

Device Account Properties
Connection Properties
Connection settings define how Iotellect Server communicates with a certain CPE. These settings may be accessed using the Edit Device Properties action of Device Context. The following connection properties are available:
Property | Description |
CPE ID | ID of the CPE that will be used to identify the CPE upon its incoming connection to the ACS (Iotellect Server). |
Connection Initiation Address | Host name or IP address to be used for establishing an HTTP connection to the CPE. |
Connection Initiation Port | Port number to be used for establishing an HTTP connection to the CPE. |
Connection Initiation Path | HTTP URL path to be used for establishing an HTTP connection to the CPE. |

Assets are not supported by the driver.
Device Settings
CWMP device driver creates one Device setting variable for every discovered CPE parameter.

Connection Handling
This driver makes the device Online if an outgoing HTTP connection to the CPE was successful.
Synchronization Details
Synchronization between Iotellect Server and CWMP device includes the following steps:
- Retrieving metadata about available CPE properties
- Reading values of CPE properties
