Drag and Drop Actions
Some actions are activated by Drag and Drop operations in the Iotellect Server User Interface. For example, in Iotellect Client you can drag one System Tree node and drop it onto another node. This will trigger an action. In the terms of a Drag And Drop action, the context that was dropped onto the node is called "accepted context".
Drag-and-Drop actions may be also activated without actually dragging and dropping with the mouse. For example, you can launch them from the Related Actions list appearing under the System Tree in Iotellect Client, or from the context menu for a node in the System Tree. In this case, the user will be prompted to select an "accepted" context using a Select Entities UI Procedure.
Every Drag and Drop action may accept contexts of one or more types. Some actions may accept any context, others will accept just contexts of a certain type.
