Configuration Change Tracking and Alerting

Each time Iotellect Network Manager detects that a device's configuration is changed since the last backup, if fires a Configuration Changed event. This event is saved in the server database.

To track configuration change history, enable Configuration Changes event filter. This filter shows configuration change events and their primary fields:

• Device which configuration was changed
• Configuration type
• Configuration label
• Difference of current configuration from the previous backup

Iotellect Network Manager bundle includes Configuration Changed alert that's raised each time a device configuration change is detected. It's recommended to fine-tune this alert to:

• Warn about configuration changes of core devices only
• Setup e-mail or SMS notifications for core device configuration changes
