Creating HMIs
In terms of Iotellect SCADA/HMI, a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) is a standard dashboard. A dashboard serving as an HMI is usually characterized by:
Absolute (non-grid) layout that simplifies component positioning
Optional background image displaying an overall view of managed industrial process
Certain dynamic Image or Vector Drawing components (pipes, tanks, fans, etc) placed over the background and indicating the state of corresponding equipment
Labels, Text Fields, Sliders and other components used for monitoring certain metrics and changing setpoint values
Buttons for opening other HMIs (dashboards) via server actions or triggering certain equipment operations
