Expressions Security
Expression processing always inherits the permissions of the calling party. For example, if an alert trigger tries to execute a query over a group of devices, the trigger expression will use the alert owner's permissions and pass them to the Execute Query function, effectively allowing it to access only devices available to him.
Calling party permissions are used for:
Resolving references to context variables and functions
Executing context-related functions of the expression language itself
