Server Status Monitoring

Being an application server, Iotellect Server provides a lot of information to help system administrators get detailed information on server status and health, as well as the health of applications it's running.

This raw information is mostly available via the View Server Information action of Root Context. It includes information about:

  • Server version, installation date, start time, uptime, and startup duration

  • Server memory usage, disk space utilization, and CPU load

  • Overall and detailed event processing statistics

  • Server Java environment

  • Iotellect Server Failover Cluster and Database Failover Cluster status

  • Detailed context statistics (number of context entities, their usage counts, per-context event processing statistics, etc.)

  • Overall device-specific statistics (number of device variable read/write operations, device function calls, received device events)

  • License information

  • Active plugins information

  • Installed modules information

  • Detailed information about active client connections

  • Overall and detailed information about server threads and thread pools

Detailed information about specific server metrics is available in descriptions of corresponding Root Context variables.

There is a dedicated set of diagnostics dashboards available in the System Diagnostics resource category. Those dashboards provide a detailed graphical analysis of how server performance metrics change with time.
