Connection Properties
Property | Description |
URI of the vSphere Service (case sensitive) | URL of a VMware web service. |
Username | Username to use for authorization. |
Password | Password to use for authorization. |
Is SSO Enabled (only vCenter) | This option enables Single Sign On. It should be enabled for a vCenter connection and disabled otherwise (e.g. for an ESX server). |
Skip SSL Certificate validation | Disables server certificate validity checking. |

Device Settings
Service. Provides overall information about VMware server.
Hypervisors. Contains hypervisor list.
VMs. Contains Virtual Machine list.
Counters. Contains a list of all performance counters.
Device Operations
Power On/Resume a VM. Starts or resumes a Virtual Machine.
Power Off a VM. Stops a Virtual Machine.
Reset a VM. Resets a Virtual Machine.
Suspend a VM. Suspends a Virtual Machine.
Retrieve Properties. This operation allows to retrieve specific property from the VMWare device. Has the following properties:
Type. Managed Object type.
Name. Name of the Managed Object instance.
Property Path. Property name or path of the property separated by dot.
Device Events
No events provided by the driver.
Connection Handling
This driver makes the device Online if connection with VMware server is successfully established.
Synchronization Details
Synchronization between Iotellect Server and VMware server includes reading of VMware counter table.
