OEE Quick Start
Install and start the Iotellect Server, version 6.4 or later.
Log in to the system.
Deploy the preinstalled Platform Administration Kit application if it is not already deployed, then reopen the server administration panel.
Install the Iotellect Monitoring MES Solution or the Iotellect Monitoring MES Core and Iotellect Monitoring MES Performance and OEE modules from the public store, and restart the server.
After installation and deployment of the MES Core and MES OEE applications, the system tree automatically includes the required models, contexts, and dashboards.
Populate the system with basic configuration data such as work shifts, production entities, products, and other relevant information.
Configure OEE on production entities.
Activate the required statistical channels within the instantiable models of production entities or their specific instances in the system tree.
The Iotellect Monitoring MES Performance and OEE module adds the following components to the system:
A relative model “OEE”.
A relative dashboard “OEE Indicators of the Production Entity” for each production entity.
An absolute model “OEE Manager”.
An absolute dashboard “OEE”, available from the product’s side navigation menu.
OEE and its associated metrics — Availability, Performance, and Quality — are stored in granules.
Granule configurations are available both in production entity models and their instances, providing flexible tuning options.
By default, granules are configured to calculate OEE on an hourly and per-shift basis.
If needed, you can modify the calculation method or granule size to better suit your operational requirements.
